Billing & Insurance

Making Pediatric Care Simple and Stress-Free

At Bronx Kids Pediatrics, we want your focus to be on your child’s health — not on complicated bills. That’s why we work with most major insurance plans, offer flexible payment options, and keep our billing process as clear as possible.

We accept most major insurance plans, including commercial, Medicaid, and managed care plans.
Before your visit, please:

  • Bring your current insurance card to each appointment

  • Make sure your child is listed with Bronx Kids Pediatrics as their primary care provider (if required by your plan)

  • Contact your insurance company to confirm coverage for well visits, vaccines, and any specific procedures

If you change insurance, please let us know before your next visit to avoid delays in billing.

Understanding Your Coverage

While most insurance plans cover routine well visits and recommended vaccines at no cost to you, coverage for sick visits, labs, and certain procedures may vary.
Your insurance provider can confirm:

  • Co-pays and deductibles

  • What’s considered preventive vs. diagnostic care

  • Coverage for telemedicine visits

Payments

Self-Pay & Uninsured Patients

If you don’t have insurance, we offer self-pay rates and can connect you with resources to help you apply for public health coverage. Payment is due at the time of your visit.

We accept:

Credit/debit cards

  • Checks

  • Cash

  • Online payments through our patient portal

Billing Questions

If you have questions about a bill, our billing department is here to help. We can:
